About Us
Established in 1985 as a non-profit, Maa Anandmayee Memorial School (MAMS) is a co-educational K12 High School that was founded in the memory of Divine Maa by her followers.
The School is an English Medium day cum residential school affiliated to The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. It offers contemporary education and sporting facilities (including a residential sports academy) with a myriad of extracurricular activities for students from Playgroup to Grade XII.

ATAL TINKERING LAB
MAMS inaugurated the Atal Tinkering Lab officially in August 2019 to promote Innovation & Creativity among school students. The ATL lab consists of a lot of courses ranging from coding to robotics. The objective of this facility is to foster curiosity, creativity, and imagination in young minds; and inculcate skills such as design mindset, computational thinking, adaptive learning, physical computing etc
ABOUT THE EVENTS
We at MAMS are organizing an inter-school business pitch competition with the objective of developing s tudents’ minds towards innovation and entrepreneurial thinking.
Schools from all over India will be participating in this competition. Every school will come up with a unique idea and try to solve a problem that they feel needs attention. A team will comprise 4 students and a school is allowed to enter only one team. They will send their ideas for due consideration of the jury. The top 10 entries from all the submissions received from various participating schools will be selected to participate in the final round to be held at MAMS Campus.
The main event will take place on 17th November 2022. These schools will present their business ideas within the giventime limit through a structured business pitch before a seasoned jury from the startup ecosystem. They will have the opportunity to interact with and get mentored by industry leaders, veterans, and mentors from the business community.


Each school will present one pitch with one team of 2-3 students and these students will be able to access the one-week boot camp in which mentors from ENpower will teach skills such as; Critical thinking, Presentation skills, Time management, Communication skills, and other necessary entrepreneurial skills. One mentor will be given to every 5 schools; each mentor will select 2 schools that will later compete in the main event.
The main event will take place on 6 October 2021. The ten selected schools will present their business ideas within the given time limit.
ISSUES
The participating schools have to choose from one or more of the following issues to deliver their pitch-
- Migration - People are compelled to relocate from one place to another in search of employment and livelihood
- Low Literacy Level - The literacy rate in India has always been comparatively lower than other countries
- Waste Disposal - Lack of awareness about waste disposal is one of the disappointing features of Indian society.
- Unemployment - Individuals who are employable and actively seeking a job but are unable to find a job
- Hygiene and Health - India has also faced major health and hygiene issues over the years
- Natural Disasters - Countless casualties are caused every year due to natural disasters
- Gender Equality - With the prevalence of gender discrimination, and social norms and practises, girls become exposed to the possibility of child marriage, child domestic work, poor education, exploitation and violence

SECTORS
The participating schools must focus on businesses that relate to the following sectors-
- Education – India’s education sector offers a great opportunity with ~26.31% of India’s population in the age group of 0 to 14 years.
- Renewal Energy - The Need for renewable energy is rising every day
- Infrastructure - Infrastructure is a key driver of the Indian economy
- Agriculture - The primary Indian activities has always been Agriculture
- Waste Management - It consist of everything related to waste such as waste disposal, waste renewal etc

Rules
- Each school should enrol one team
- A team should consist of 4 students
- 3.5 minutes will be given to the students for presenting their business idea which will be followed by 1.5 minutes of questions by the judges
- Power point presentation of 10 slides should be made by the participants
- The size of the video should not exceed 10 Mb

- Selected schools will send their 'Product One Pager ' and 'Business Canvas Model' for the Final Event
- All decisions taken by the judges will be final and binding

JUDGING CRITERIA
The assessment Criteria will be different for Pre qualifiers and the final event.
Pre Qualifiers -
- A Power point presentation of not more than 10 slides should be made by each participating team to give an overview of the business idea.
- A video pitch of not more than 10 Mb should be submitted by each team on the given Google Drive link

Main Event -
The final projects will be assessed on the basis of the following parameters.
- Detailed Description of the problem
- Criticality of the problem linking it to your experience
- Detailed description of the user-Segment / Geography / Scale.
- Description of the solution in terms of uniqueness, sustainability and effectiveness for the end consumer.
Deliverables -
- Product One Pager to be submitted before the event by 13th November.
- Business model canvas to be submitted before the event by 13 November
Final Presentation – 3.5 Minutes business pitch followed by Questions from the jury at the main event.
No late entries will be accepted. All Teams are requested to kindly adhere to the deadline.
